The new ISO 17025 Certified Digital Measuring Device from Precision Forensic Testing makes measuring the overall and barrel lengths of your firearms easier and faster without sacrificing accuracy.  Also included with the device is an ISO 17025 certified traceable 24" rod for calibration.  The digital read out reports in hundredths of an inch so there is no conversion of fractions necessary when performing Uncertainty of Measurement.  Another advantage to this system is the elimination of error from reading the scale from the sliding plate.

One of the most interesting areas of forensics also happens to be the one with the most difficult samples to obtain. There is no substitute for hands on demonstrations and laboratory exercises in classrooms.

With this in mind, Precision Forensic Testing has put together educational kits incorporating high quality photographs, real world experience, actual samples, and laboratory exercises which mimic actual casework. The reason we are able to develop such an accurate kit with such high quality is because it is designed and produced by practicing Firearm Examiners. We incorporate decades of experience in each lecture and laboratory exercise.

No other kits on the market have the experience and training behind everything it makes. The Power Point lectures included with each kit provides comprehensive information on the topic. The lectures incorporate video clips to aid in demonstrating the topic being discussed. Additionally, technical support is provided to assist with any questions that may result from using our kits.
